Prof. Dariusz Mikulski

The horn player and conductor Dariusz Mikulski, born in 1973 in Zelow (Poland), studied at the Music Academy in Lodz; In 1994 he continued his studies in Germany with Prof. Radovan Vlatkovic at the Music Academy of Stuttgart and at the Salzburg Mozarteum. He also studied conducting with Prof. Tomas Ungar (Music Academy of Stuttgart). He completed his studies with a diploma. During his early studies, he won significant horn competitions in his homeland. Meanwhile, he has received several award winners at international level, for example, the Prague Spring of Peter Dam-Horn competition, the International Horn Competition in Toulon or the International Instrumental Competition market Neunkirchen.

Dariusz Mikulski participates in various chamber music ensembles and regularly works with renowned musicians as Valery Oistrakh, Radovan Vlatkovic, Ingo Goritzki and Sergio Azzolini together. As a soloist he has performed with orchestras of international standing; important to mention are as the Symphony Orchestra of the Norddeutscher Rundfunk, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, Warsaw, Stuttgart and Vienna, the Philharmonie der Nationen, and the German Opera in Berlin. As a conductor DARIUSZ MIKULSKI collaborated with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, the Grand Philharmonic Poland, the Symphony Orchestra of the Arthur Rubinstein Philharmonic Orchestra Lodz, Katowice Silesian Philharmonic and the Orchestra of the Lower Silesian Philharmonic Hirchberg. Last as a conductor at the Musical Production ‘King Ludwig II’ in Fussen. Several radio and CD recordings document his skills.

Dr. DARIUSZ MIKULSKI is known as the founder and director of the symphony orchestra BIG PHILHARMONIE Poland.

The orchestra offers young musicians from many countries a unique opportunity with experienced colleagues and masters of their craft, elaborate together with samples and concert tours. With this orchestra more than 30 international tours since A. was founded in 2000 and until today. Graduated in Poland, Germany, Austria, France, Sweden and Italy.

Mikulski is founder and Managing Director of CONCORNO Cultural Management, headquartered in Stuttgart.

The priorities of the Directorate are in the organizing of concerts and artist management. CONCORNO is a member of the Association of German Concert Agency e. V. and is working with the Polish Consulate General in Munich together. Among other Konzertdirektion currently for planning the German-Polish Year in Germany (2005- 2006) is responsible.

In years 2005 – 2010 was Dariusz Mikulski Director General and Artistic Director of the Sudeten Philharmonic in Walbrzych / Poland. He leads the Horn class of the Music Academy in Lodz, International Mozart Akademie Wien-Berlin, Polish Chamber Symphonic Orchestra as well as the European Young Opera with many important projects home and abroad.
