The horn player and conductor Dariusz Mikulski, born in 1973 in Zelow (Poland), studied at the Music Academy in Lodz; In 1994 he continued his studies in Germany with Prof. Radovan Vlatkovic at the Music Academy of Stuttgart and at the Salzburg Mozarteum. He also studied conducting with Prof. Tomas Ungar (Music Academy of Stuttgart). He completed his studies with a diploma. During his early studies, he won significant horn competitions in his homeland. Meanwhile, he has received several award winners at international level, for example, the Prague Spring of Peter Dam-Horn competition, the International Horn Competition in Toulon or the International Instrumental Competition market Neunkirchen.
Sinfonia Masovia Warsaw Chamber Philharmonic
The orchestra “Sinfonia Masovia – Warsaw Chamber Philharmonic” was founded in 2014 by Dariusz Mikulski – general – and artistic director. At first orchestra performed under the name Warschauer Kammerphilharmonie. The activity began with series of concerts in Poland – in Warsaw, Łódź and Poznań, as well as with the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Ernst Reuter Hall in Berlin, Germany.
