Audition announcement for Stanisław Moniuszko’s opera

“The Haunted Manor”

Audition Date: May 30, 2025

The MikulskiART Foundation announces auditions for the premiere production of Stanisław Moniuszko’s national opera “The Haunted Manor.”

We warmly invite talented vocalists to audition for all leading roles:
Miecznik, Hanna, Jadwiga, Damazy, Stefan, Zbigniew, Cześnikowa, Maciej, Skołuba.

Location of hearings

Zbigniew Herbert Municipal Cultural Centre
ul. T. Kościuszki 14, 95-200 Pabianice, Poland
Audition start time will be announced after registration is closed.

The premiere performances will take place on November 11 and 12, 2025, at the Pawelan Hall in Pabianice.

Repertoire requirements:

🔹 For roles: Miecznik, Hanna, Jadwiga, Stefan, Cześnikowa, Skołuba
– One aria or scene from “The Haunted Manor” (suitable for the role/voice type)
– One classical opera aria of choice (e.g., W.A. Mozart)

🔹 For roles: Damazy, Zbigniew, Maciej
– One aria or song by St. Moniuszko (suitable for the voice/character of the role)
– One classical opera aria of choice (e.g., W.A. Mozart)

An accompanist will be provided by the organizer.

 Travel and accommodation expenses are the responsibility of the participants.

Applications will be accepted exclusively via the registration form until May 28, 2025.
